My work is my interpretation of the world as described through the visual language of shape, value and edge. I approach my subject with the idea that less is always more, and it is what you do not say that makes the biggest statement. By leaving some parts of the painting or drawing ambiguous I provide an opportunity for the viewer to fill in the blanks. Through the coaction of my efforts and the viewers’ perception, it is my aspiration to create a conversation between the picture and the observer.
